Who We Are

The R&B Ranch, located 17 miles north of Weston, Colorado up the Wet Canyon, is a 70-acre ranch owned and operated by the husband and wife team of WD Phillips and CJ Dillow. Carol is a native of Colorado while Bill has made Colorado his home since 1981. Bill and Carol are avid outdoors enthusiasts and horse people.

Cabin amenities

The cabin, also located on the 70 acres, is offered to families as a vacation retreat. It's location provides a scenic view of the Spanish Peaks and the Sangre de Cristo mountain range. The ranch is located at an elevation of 8,100 feet. The cabin features 1,200 square feet of living quarters and features a full-service kitchen (electric stove, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, trash compactor), a laundry room with a washer and dryer, a single bathroom, living room, and three bedrooms. The central source of heat is provided by a 2500 BTU "Warm-Morning" gas stove located in the living room. The master bedroom contains a queen-size bed, the second bedroom has 2 twin-size beds, and the 3rd bedroom features 2 raised cots. The 70-acre ranch has 4 security lights surrounding the cabin area. The property is fenced on 3 sides. A natural fence is provided on the backside of the property by a steep and rocky hillside. The ranch is available to those wishing to bring along their horses to enjoy the many horse trails in the surrounding area.

Directions

Weston, Colorado lies along the historic Purgatory River and is surrounded by Stonewall, Colorado to the West; the Cuchara Valley to the Northwest; the Spanish Peaks to the North; Aguilar, Colorado to the Northeast; Trinidad, Colorado to the East; and Raton, New Mexico to the Southeast.

To reach the R&B Ranch, take I-25 to Trinidad, Colorado. Take the Highway 12 west exit in Trinidad. Follow Highway 12 (also known as the "scenic Highway of Legends") west for approximately 18 miles. When you reach the town of Weston, take a right on County Road 31.9 which is directly opposite the post office (a large sign reading "Wet Canyon" also marks the road to turn on). Continue on County Road 31.9 for approximately 15 miles. R&B Ranch is directly off the right side of County Road 31.9.

Cabin Leasing

The R&B cabin rental rates are as follows:

• Daily lease rate: $125/day (a minimum of 3 days required).
• Weekly lease rate: $700/week (6 nights/7 days).
• Required deposit: $200 (payable at the time of reservation).
• Cancellation timeframe: 2 weeks notice (or deposit is forfeited).
• Reservation recommendations: Request your reservations as early as possible to avoid full bookings.
